TOEFL

TOEFL is an eval uation test which calcurates in figures if a person taking the test has an English capability enough to study in English speaking countries. There are two types of TOEFL test; one is PBT that means Paper Based Test and the other is CBT, Computer Based Test.
PBT is what I have taken more than 10 times since my freshman's days. That is typical paper test as everyone can imagine. However CBT, which I'm going to take next week, is practiced by computer. The problem is that I have ever taken the exam. A tast-taker is to sit in front of desktop and answer questions appered on the screen. That is how test is done. And there are four sections; listening, grammer, reading and writing sections. My most anxiety is the writing section. I'm given 30 minutes to write an essay about some certain topic. I can reify my opinion, though I need to spend so much time on it. I'm a sort of slow reader, which means my writing speed is not so speedy also. How can I make it within the 30 minutes? That is the problem.
If one is planning to applay for graduate school in abroad especially in the United States, the person will need to take at least more than 250 points out of 300 on computer basis. Last time I took TOEFL test which was paper based, the point was 550. It is same to approx 214 on computer test. It sounds not that hard to 250 points, because I took 214 points. But there are thousand differences inbetween. It's easy to increase the point from 150 to 200; however it doesn't happen from 200 points. Gee I don't have much credence on that..
